Six builds, one at a time
The web design portfolio Johannesburg businesses judge us on.
Not a wall of thumbnails. Each build below gets its own account: what it had to do, how it was put together, and what stayed with us afterwards. We build it, then we run it, so every site on this page is still one we can stand behind.

Sicon Group
One line from you: what Sicon Group does and who buys from it. It sits here, above the account of the build.
The shape of a build is settled by how much there is to hold. Page count is the fastest way to feel that, and it is usually the first thing a brief settles: a handful of pages and a full catalogue are not the same job, and pretending otherwise is how a quote goes wrong in week three.
Built in WordPress, written rather than assembled, with the structure search engines read put in at the foundation instead of bolted on after launch.
Chronos Air Group
One line from you: what Chronos Air Group does and who buys from it.
Most of the work on a site like this is deciding what a visitor should find first, then refusing to bury it. Navigation gets drawn around what the business actually sells rather than around how the company is organised internally, because a visitor does not know your org chart and will not learn it.
The layout is drawn for the business before a line of it is built, and you see it before the build starts.
Skynet Pools
One line from you: what Skynet Pools does and who buys from it.
A site whose job is to generate enquiries is built differently from one whose job is to sell on the page. The whole layout works towards the moment someone asks a question, so the way to make contact is never more than a screen away, and the form asks for what is needed to answer rather than everything that could be collected.
Everything a person taps is sized to be tapped, and the pages are written to be found by the people already searching for what the business sells.
BST Tours
One line from you: what BST Tours does and who buys from it.
When the pictures are doing the selling, the pictures are also the thing most likely to make the page crawl. Every image is sized and served for the slot it sits in rather than uploaded at whatever the camera produced, and the ones below the fold wait until they are needed.
A page that takes its time loses the visitor before the argument starts, which is why speed is treated as part of the design and not as something to fix afterwards.
Inkfinity
One line from you: what Inkfinity does and who buys from it.
Some businesses are judged on how they look before anyone reads a word, and for those the design has to lead and the build has to be written around it. That is the opposite of dropping a brand into a theme and recolouring the buttons, which is what most template work amounts to.
Hand-coded, so nothing in the layout is a compromise with somebody else's theme, and every line of it exists because this site needed it.
Yireh Systems
One line from you: what Yireh Systems does, and how it relates to Yireh Business Solutions.
A build does not end at handover here. The hosting, the updates, the rankings and the ads stay with the people who made the site, which is the reason every project on this page is still one we can show you rather than one we lost track of a year ago.
It also means there is one number to call when something needs doing, instead of a developer, a host and an agency each pointing at the other two.
Yours would be number seven.
Send the brief and a written quote comes back inside one working day, costed against what you described. Nothing owed for asking, and nothing starts until you say so.
